Training on water (SUP Fitness)

We are offering SUP Fitness all summer at Dalarö in the southern part of Stockholm Archipelago!

The combination of training and being on a SUP board will enhance the training by increasing the need of balancing your body and it will also get you additional benefits by being out on the water being able to enjoy the water and nature around! And it is a lot of fun!

There is scientific evidence on the waters positive effects on us and its ability to make us relaxed, at peace and in harmony. Wallace J. Nichols brings many of them up in his book (great read!) “Blue Mind”. He is summarizing this human-water connection as a “mildly meditative state characterized by calm, peacefulness, unity and a sense of general happiness and satisfaction with life in the moment”. The short explanation for this is that near, in, on or under the water our senses are alive at the same time as our brain gets some rest due to considerably fewer stimuli than usual, which is giving other areas of the brain associated with emotions and pleasure more space providing a calming influence that is even scientifically measurable.  This phenomenon of Blue Mind has inspired us a lot and also the name of the company – Blue Zense Yoga & Training.

We have scheduled weekly SUP Fitness classes all summer! We are also arranging SUP Fitness classes on request – both individually and for groups.

    Regular SUP Yoga & SUP Fitness classes at Askfatshamnen Dalarö

    During the summer (week 27-32, June 29 to August 9, 2020) we are offering regular SUP Paddling tours as well as SUP Yoga & SUP Fitness classes at Askfatshamnen Dalarö.

    We are offering different kind of classes; SUP Fitness, SUP Yoga Aqua Flow, Morning Paddling tour with SUP Yoga Yin & Yang, SUP Yoga for Starters and Evening SUP Paddling tour. For more information and class descriptions, please contact us!

    Cost:
    SUP Fitness class 60 min – 1 occasion: 270 SEK/person
    SUP Yoga class 90 min – 1 occasion: 290 SEK/person
    SUP Paddle class 60 min – 1 occasion: 250 SEK/person
    SUP Paddling/Yoga/Fitness class 60/90 min – 5 occasions: 1200 SEK/person

    SUP Fitness on request –  Personal Training

    We are also offering Personal Training within SUP Fitness. The training session will be completely customized based on your individual needs and objectives. We are tailoring the focus and the set up based on your needs and what you want to get out of it.

    Training on the water gives as extra dimensions both balance-wise and nature-wise. The combination of training and being on a SUP board will enhance the training by increasing the need of balancing your body and it will also get you additional benefits by being out on the water being able to enjoy the water and nature around!

    SUP Fitness on request – for groups

    We are also offering SUP Fitness as a group activity.

    You can choose if you want to combine it with SUP Paddling or focus more specifically on fitness training.

    The training will be customized based on your needs and objectives with the activiity. We are tailoring the focus and set up based on what you want to get out of it. It might be to have a fun moment together, for team building purposes or you might want to get a really challanging training session.

    Training on the water gives us extra dimensions both balance-wise and nature-wise. The combination of training and being on a SUP board will enhance the training by increasing the need of balancing your body and it will also get you additional benefits mood-wise by being out on the water being able to enjoy the water and the nature around!
